Handles #1668 and #1485. Additonally, point clouds and points are now separated layer wise for both rendering and intersecting and point cloud selection is now enabled by default. Simple points are still non interactible by default. Added a threshold to the raycaster for points with a relatively low value so that selection has a better precision on points. (#1813)
